UNWTO in collaboration with the Basque Culinary Center launches the 2nd Global Competition for Gastronomy Tourism Startups. This is a global initiative that aims to identify startups with the greatest potential to outline the future and promote sustainable innovation in the tourism and gastronomy sector.
Its mission is to identify challenges and projects, and catalyzing innovations that can transform the Gastronomy Tourism sector in the near future.
The competition includes two categories; Startups and Social Innovation. In the Social Innovation category, this competition intended to Identify and drive projects in the gastronomic global tourism sector which cause a transformation in their environment while in the startups the competition is looking for startups with the most disruptive ideas focused on solving real needs in the tourism and gastronomy sector with a responsible approach.
Who can apply?
|Startups in the Early Stage or Series A Stage||People or companies developing and promoting a project with a high component of transformation and social improvement in its scope of action.|

|Partnership Readiness||MVP tested: prototype product or service, tested, with already measured or measurable results.|
