The Role

We are thrilled to present an outstanding opportunity for a Lead Analyst – Data Science to join our Marketing team in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. This role is ideal for someone passionate about using data to make impactful business decisions. As a vital member of the Customer Insights and Analytics team, you will:

• Solve complex data science problems and support data-driven projects.
• Work closely with various business units and leadership teams to ensure exceptional, data-informed operations.
• Engage in ambitious projects involving advanced analytics, engineering, and machine learning.
• Build and improve predictive models, address business challenges, and drive strategic decisions through data insights.

What We Are Looking For

Technical Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Scientist
• Strong grasp of numbers, statistics, mathematical concepts, and algorithms
• Knowledge of data structures, relational data, and big data platforms
• Experience with Machine Learning (e.g., linear/logistics regression, random forest, SVM, neural networks)
• Ability to solve NLP problems (e.g., text extraction, text classification)
• Proficiency with Python and Excel/Google Sheets
• Experience with machine and deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and Keras
• Experience developing solutions on the cloud
• Demonstrated interest in learning and applying Generative AI is desirable

Responsibilities

• Business Problem-Solving: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and develop data-driven solutions.
• Data Analysis and Visualization: Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets; build visualizations to communicate findings.
• Hypotheses Testing: Analyze data to test business hypotheses, validate results, and extract insights.
• Feature Engineering and Selection: Engineer relevant features from raw data for machine learning models.
• Machine Learning Model Development and Deployment: Develop, train, and deploy models; ensure quality and performance.
• Model Monitoring: Monitor and evaluate model performance to identify areas for improvement.
• Communication: Effectively communicate complex insights to technical and non-technical collaborators.
• Collaborator Management: Work with various departments to ensure efficient and timely execution of projects.

Minimum Education

A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, or Economics, or equivalent experience.
